Children's Choir

Our children's choir meets primarily in November and December to prepare pieces for Lessons and Carols as well as Christmas Eve and sometimes a Family Worship in January. As well as singing, they are also given the opportunity to play special color coded bells that children as young as 3 can use. Each session also includes a snack and craft, and is usually held on a Sunday Afternoon.

 

We also occasionally through the year prepare the Sunday School Children to present a piece in church, or hold special Children's Choir sessions for occasions such as Easter or The Bishop's Visitation.

2008 Children's Choir

Our Children's Choir rehearsed from November 23 through December 21st in 2008 and delighted Saint Matthews Congregation with their singing. They performed the Invitatory at Lessons and Carols on December 14, 2008 and also performed the first verse of Away in a Manger during the Children's Christmas Eve Pageant. They also prepared Kum-baya for the Bishop's visitation in May.
