Children's Choir

Calling all Saint Matthews Singers ages 3 to 10!

Our children's choir is reforming to rehearse for the Family Worship Service at 4:30pm on Christmas Eve.

We are extremely lucky to have the talents of Karen Morris, our organist, to lead the Children's Choir. She will be holding practices in the music classroom in Mathes Hall on the following Sunday afternoons:

(All Practice Sessions are from 3pm to 4pm)

November 23

November 30

December 7 - No Practice

December 14 - Please bring your children to church at 10am latest to robe and warm up as they will be singing during the beginning of Lessons and Carols. There will also be rehearsal for Christmas Eve at 3pm.

December 21

To further enhance these sessions, there will also be snack time and a craft project each week.

We hope a large proportion of our Sunday School Children will participate in this wonderful opportunity. We also warmly welcome other children who do not attend Sunday School to participate. This is a commitment however, and to ensure the children are properly prepared, we do ask parents to try ensure their children attend every session possible, and that they arrive promptly.

Parents are also asked to volunteer to assist during one of the practices or to help supervise the children on the Christmas Eve.
