Camp E.D.G.E. registration started on April 26th and runs through July1st or earlier if all places are filled. Places are limited and will be awarded in the order that forms are received. Please send your completed forms to:

VOLUNTEERS

We can only provide the wonderful VBS experience thanks to an enormous team of volunteers. We have almost as many adults helping to ensure the week is an experience our Camp E.D.G.E. campers will cherish and remember. The number of volunteers especially determines the number of places we can offer.

If you can offer even one hour of your time during VBS week, or on VBS Sunday, please download the form below and return it to the same address listed under registration. If you would like to discuss opportunities available, please contact Lucy Templeton (click link for email) or by phoning the church office at 304-343-3837.

T-SHIRTS

This year, we are asking all our Campers to wear their t-shirts everyday. Our volunteers also wear their t-shirts everyday so that children are aware who they can go to for assistance. We will provide everyone registered with a t-shirt either prior to VBS if you are able to come and collect it, or on the first morning when you arrive.

There is an option to purchase additional t-shirts to help get you through the week; children's sizes cost $6, Adult sizes $7 and adult XXL $8. Please ensure you mark this clearly on the registration or Volunteer Information forms (see sections above for forms) and send a check in with your form. Checks should be made payable to Saint Matthews Episcopal Church with "VBS T-shirt" written on the memo line.

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP...

Prayer: Everyone can pray for Camp E.D.G.E; for guidance in our planning, for the volunteers we rely upon, and that we may share God's love with as many children as possible during the course of our work.

Healthy Snacks: we need 120 portions of several food items. We are looking for sponsors to either purchase a specific item, or give a donation to cover the cost. Contact Lucy Templeton to volunteer!

Decorating Wish List of Equipment:There is a host of equipment like Christmas Trees, Tents, Sleeping Bags, and Sports Equipment we need to borrow to decorate. Click here for a full list and let Lucy Templeton know if you have anything we can borrow. Please mark items with your name if you wish to have them returned after VBS!

Decorating: We have some large canvas drop cloths that need painting, as well as mountain scenes with trees and waterfalls to creat around our buildings. Much of the creative work can be started in the weeks leading up to VBS so if you can help please conact Lucy Templeton. There will be a decorating day on Saturday July 11th from 10AM to start decorating Mathes Hall and we also need a team to convert the church itself from noon on Sunday July 12th.
