Saint Nicholas Visited The Children at Saint Matthews

Our Saint Nicholas Family Fun Night scheduled for December 6th had to be canceled because of snow and ice, but Saint Nicholas kindly agreed to make an appearance to teach the children about his life and traditions after church on Sunday instead. The children did a few of the crafts, listened to Saint Nicholas tell his story and also watched a puppet show about Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus. The children were finally given gifts of oranges, and chocolate gold coins. Unfortunately Fr. Bill was not present to witness the visit, but Saint Nicholas remarkably resembled him!
