On-Site Progressive Dinner Photos

The multi purpose room in Mathes Hall underwent a dramatic transformation into an elegant Bistro for Saint Matthews first On-Site Progressive Dinner. Our own Saint Matthews Chefs; led by Executive Chef Ashley Smoak, provided a 5 course dinner that would rival the best meal found in Charleston. Guests arrived at 6pm for drinks at the Martini Bar and Hors D'Oeuvres before picking a number to direct them to their first table for Italian Antipasto. They would change tables inbetween each course for a menu that included Poulet aux Champignons, Pan Seared Salmon, Desserts, Coffee and European Cheese and Crackers. Some courses were served at the table by our Youth Group wait staff who diligently cleared plates, served drinks and took great care of the guests at their tables. It was an evening of community spirit, wonderful fellowship and a time to catch up with friends new and old.

The children also participated downstairs in their own dinner party event; a Pajama Pizza Party with Art and Maribel.

The Youth Group Members worked for tips. They decided to donate 50% of them to Fr. Zachary Drennen's Missionary work in Kenya and proudly presented him with $170 at the end of the evening.

Our sincere thanks to the many who volunteered their time and services to make this such a memorable night. Over 60 people participated in the evening's events.
