CAMP E.D.G.E. VBS - Craft, Music and Relection Time Photos

Each day, the classes rotated to have sessions in Craft, Music, Reflection Time and Recreation before heading back to church for closing assembly.

 

MUSIC

Kim Javins taught the children different songs each day with the help of a video. The actions were complicated, but everyone picked up the moves and by the end of the morning the entire camp was singing and dancing to the song of the day!

 

CRAFTS

The first day, the children made camp hats to wear with their new Camp E.D.G.E. T-shirts each day.

The second day, they camouflage fabric painted rucksack bags and removed a card patch to reveal a cross to remind them that God is everywhere, even when we don't realize it.

The third day they painted prayer stones with a cross, to put inside a prayer box which they decorated with stickers. Inside the box they also placed a copy of the Camp E.D.G.E. daily scriptures to use with the prayer stone.

On the final day, they made various star crafts depending on their age group. Thanks to Allyson Smoak, Katie Coleman, Mary Green and many other volunteers for their work preparing the crafts for VBS.

 

REFLECTION TIME

Each day, the classes would find a quiet area to reflect on the bible story of the day and complete some worksheets. The campfire ring was a popular venue, as were the tents!
