with Children fully participating in all aspects of worship. Sunday School Teacher Appreciation and Student Attendance awards also given.

2 to 4PM COMMUNITY CARNIVAL
Saint Matthews welcomes local children for a free afternoon of fun on the parish grounds. Event includes Inflatable Obstacle Course, train and Jupiter Jump, Carnival Food, Face Painting and lots of Carnival games.

4PM ROGER DAY CHILDREN’S SHOW
Roger Day will welcome children in the church for an high energy, 100% participation show that will get the children dancing in the pews. Targeted at children aged 3 to 8 year olds although all ages welcome! Full details below. This is also an outreach event so children who are not usually able to access the arts will be specifically invited.

ABOUT ROGER DAY’S SHOW……
Roger’s shows involve 100% mass participation by students and parents alike so be ready to move, dance, sing, jump up, reach up, point your finger, walk like a turtle or roar like a bear! Roger writes all his own songs and they are a natural fit with the curiosity, intellectual development and sense of playfulness of children aged 3 through 8 years old. Roger does not only perform his songs, he also teaches them in an age-appropriate manner so the students will have confidence to sing along, participate fully and learn lots of valuable information. Roger Day is #1 on FM KiDS radio, appears on PBS Television and has twice won the Parent’s Choice Award. He empowers children and helps them “Think Big” through his music.
